Round Robin vs. King of the Court

Choose round robin for coverage
Round robins aim to expose players or teams to many different matchups. They work well for standings, social mixers, and events where the organizer wants an advance schedule.
Choose king of the court for momentum
King or queen of the court uses results to move winners toward the top court and challengers downward. It adapts to performance and keeps strong competition together, but the full schedule cannot be known in advance.
Match the format to the promise
If you promise equal variety, choose a rotation. If you promise fast, competitive sorting, choose king of the court. State movement rules and partner rules before the first round.
